Almost done, just a few touch ups required now.
In this example, I have included the finalised version of the transition between the first and second sections. One thing that I altered from the previous version was the last bar where I have included some syncopation to adopt the feel of the next section and accentuate the change further.

In this example, I show one of the late development sections of the piece where I layer in and develop the accompanying ideas. I have done this so that before a part’s accompaniment gets developed it first doubles the melody of the 1st Violin for a bar and then adopts a more complex accompaniment.
This example shows the final few bars of the piece. I have used diminution in the accompanying parts to add complexity as well as moved the melody in the 1st Violin up an octave to push towards the end of the piece. In the last bar, I have orchestrated the melodic material so that it is in all parts and creates a cadence into the final bar.

That’s all Folks… The finishing touches have been applied to the composition and now the music equivalent to proofreading has commenced. At this stage, all that needs to be done is ensure that all dynamic markings are correct, articulations are accurate and beaming is correct and groupings are appropriate for the time signatures chosen.
I will make the final version of the score available on the website however please contact me for parts if you wish.
